Hello! I’m Kate Dean. I am a graphic designer with experience spanning brand development, marketing strategy, and client-facing design work, and I am excited to apply for this opportunity. My background combines hands-on industry experience with client-based creative work, allowing me to approach design as both a visual and strategic tool.

In my current role as a Junior Marketer at The Hemp Spectrum, I develop and execute design across print and digital platforms, including in-store signage, promotional campaigns, and social media content. My work is focused on creating cohesive, sales-driven visuals that support business goals and improve customer engagement within a fast-paced retail environment.

I have also worked directly with multiple clients through agency-style and independent projects, delivering branding and identity systems from concept to execution. Through this work, I have developed logos, visual identities, and strategic design solutions tailored to each client’s audience and objectives. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate ideas clearly, manage feedback, and produce polished, purposeful design.

Beyond my design work, I bring a strong sense of accountability and composure. I have volunteered for several years with animal rescue organizations in both Missouri and Virginia, contributing to community-driven efforts. As a soccer referee, I represented the Central East Coast at regional tournaments and represented Virginia at the State Cup, experiences that required confident decision-making and the ability to perform under pressure.

I am particularly interested in roles where design contributes to brand growth, customer experience, and measurable outcomes. I would welcome the opportunity to bring that mindset and my experience to your team.
